The next instalment of Glee is said to be an extended one and will occupy a slot of 90 minutes.

According to sources, the ‘Born This Way’ episode will be afforded more TV time just so that it can keep up with the action. It will feature the Lady Gaga musical performance of Born This Way.

It will also showcase the main characters as they try to find some meaning in their lives. Rachel is all set to get herself a nose job. Lauren the other female lead will be getting set to compete for the title of prom queen.

There is some talk that the instalment will also evolve and provide an exploration of the character of Karofsky. Fox has still to approve the lengthened episode and if that comes through the producers who feel they are on to a good thing will include more soundtracks into the episodes.

Fans can tune in on 19 April for the return of Glee in the US on Fox.
