Matthew Morrison plays Will Schuester, the Spanish teacher at McKinley High. He becomes the director of the school’s glee club, hoping to restore it to its former glory.
He is married to Terri, his high school sweetheart. His choreography skills were questioned once, causing him to doubt his own abilities to steer the club into greatness, but his commitment to the club is re-established after successfully starting an all-male acapella group he calls the Acafellas.
He seems to harbor romantic feelings for co-worker Emma.
